Vietnam ELT market briefing and brokering activity for UK/VN Season 2023 Collaboration Grants

The British Council Vietnam English Programmes team will provide support in brokering and connecting UK and Vietnamese ELT and EdTech institutions/organisations for the purpose of identifing appropriate partner(s) with whom to develop proposals for the UK/VN Season 2023 Collaboration Grants. If you haven’t yet heard about this programme, please find details in this link: https://www.britishcouncil.vn/en/programmes/uk-vietnam-season-2023/collaboration-grants.

British Council's support will include:

1. Expressions of Interest - We encourage UK ELT and EdTech institutions/organisations to inform us about the project idea(s) that you want to develop and the type of Vietnamese partner(s) you are looking for. Given the limited time you are encouraged to send us your Expression(s) of Interest as soon as possible, so that brokering can take place in the week of 31 October onwards, if not earlier.

Please find below the Expression of Interest template. Please note that this is not mandatory for the process of bidding for the UK/VN Season Collaboration Grants. Only UK institutions/organisations who want to have our support in brokering relationships are advised to use this template.

How will these be shared? Information you provide in the EoI template will be communicated through our channels including emailing to target recipients of VN ELT and EdTech sector and based on that process we'll be able to recommend appropriate partner(s) for you.  Expressions of Interest information from VN providers will also be posted in this website as soon as possible.

Please, send your Expressions of Interest form to this email address: season2023English@britishcouncil.org.vn

2. Vietnam ELT Market briefing on Tuesday 25th October at 9 – 10.30 am (UK time) / 3-4.30 pm (VN time) – This event will be organised specifically for both UK and VN ELT and EdTech institutions/organisations. Through this event, we hope UK institutions/organisations will be better able to understand the Vietnam ELT market context, the needs and interests of Vietnamese ELT institutions/organisations and the two parties can learn some experience of collaborating with each other from our existing ELT partnership projects. As a result, you should be better positioned to jointly develop ideas for your proposals. Details of the event’s agenda can be found in the registration link:  https://forms.office.com/r/0hg1ctiw8A.

If interested in attending, please register and we’ll send you the Teams meeting invitation.

If you have any questions relating to our support for brokering, please do not hesitate to contact Lien Ta at lien.ta@britishcouncil.org.vn or Nga Le at nga.le@britishcouncil.org.vn.
