Pakistan Transnational Education Exploratory Events in the UK

The British Council Pakistan is pleased to invite registrations from the United Kingdom and Pakistan higher education institutions ( HEIs) who are interested in working on collaborative transnational education (TNE) programmes to attend the TNE Exploratory events in Glasgow and London on 23 and 25 November 2022 respectively.

United Kingdom  is the pioneer of TNE education in Pakistan. British Council worked with Higher Education Commission (HEC) to do the review of UK TNE in Pakistan through QAA UK. On the basis of the recommendations from that review exercise HEC drafted the  Foreign Collaboration Policy (TNE policy) which was launched in 2018.

In addition, the British Council Pakistan and HEC Pakistan launched a joint programme Pak-UK Education Gateway which  aims to enhance partnership between the higher education sectors of Pakistan and the UK.  Under this initiative, a TNE Handbook was developed to make it easy for the UK universities to understand the TNE policy requirements of HEC.
